Charging Modes of Creative Jukebox Players

Summary:

    • It applies to Creative Jukebox players only. After installing the Jukebox 4.01I/2.98I Beta Firmware (JBPCFW_4_01.exe), there will be a choice of 4 charging modes in the Settings- Power Settings - Charger menu:

Standby: The batteries are kept partially charged in case of a power outage. If you are using an external power source, it is best to run your Jukebox in this mode as it extends the life of your batteries and hard disk.
Normal: This is the original charging mode
Peak: The batteries are charged to their peak capacity
Force:

The batteries are charged with force, even if they are dead. You may notice a slight delay with the battery icon as the unit has to condition the batteries first, before charging.

Caution: Do not leave your Jukebox in Peak or Force mode as this can damage your Jukebox.

Warning: Only use Force mode on rechargeable batteries that are not fully charged.
